Lucien Halleux is Director of G-Tec and visiting Professor of Geophysics at the University of Leuven. He is a qualified geo-engineer from the University of Liège (Belgium) and holds a PhD in geophysical engineering. He has 30 years of experience in Engineering Geology and Geophysics. In 1993 he founded G-Tec, a company that designs, carries out and interprets site investigation campaigns. Recent assignments include numerous marine projects involving dredging and land reclamation such as the deepening of the Panama Canal, harbour infrastructures and renewable offshore energy projects all over the world.
