Beth Summers is a research biologist with the USACE Engineering Research and Development Center in Vicksburg, Mississippi. She earned an M.S. in Wildlife and Fisheries Science at the University of Tennessee, and B.S. in Wildlife Ecology at the University of Wisconsin, Madison. Her research focuses on habitat modelling and assessment, avian and amphibian community ecology and wetlands ecology. She is currently developing rapid assessment methodologies for perennial streams.
