Edwin Ottenheim
Edwin Ottenheim graduated in 1997 in Civil Engineering from the Delft University of Technology. In 1998 he joined Van Oord, and since then has been employed as a Project Engineer on a number of pipeline projects in Ireland, France and the United Kingdom. Presently he is working as Superintendent and Project Engineer in Dubai and involved in the reclamation, rock and harbour extension works.

The increasing population in the Montpellier, France environment required a new waste water treatment plan. Studies indicated that for maximum safety the sea outfall should be placed 11 km off the coast - an enormous length to lay an outfall pipe.
