Ronald van der Hout received an MSc degree from the University of Delft, Mechanical Engineering, Department Dredging Technique (1988). Since 1989 he has worked in the dredging industry, joining Van Oord in 1990. He has been involved in R&D for innovative approaches and dredging process optimisations both in the laboratory as well as in the field.
