After graduating from Technical University, Delft, The Netherlands, Klaas Ooms worked with Breejenbout Dredging for 10 years. Most recently as a consultant from DEMAS (Dredging, Engineering and Management Studies), he has been assigned to the Geotechnical Engineering Office of the Hong Kong Government, advising them on a wide range of dredging matters. He is presently Director of DEMAS.
