Floor Heinis
Floor Heinis obtained a doctorate in Natural Sciences in 1993 at the University of Amsterdam. Since then she has been working as a consultant specialised in freshwater, estuarine and marine ecology on the interface between scientific research and environmental policy. From 1988 to 1999 she was an associate at AquaSense Consultants. Since then she has been working as a free-lance consultant specialised in the assessment of effects of infrastructural projects on the natural environment. She was responsible for the marine ecological issues in the EIA of Maasvlakte 2 and various underlying studies.
