Arjen Luijendijk is a senior researcher/advisor in the Hydraulic Engineering unit at Deltares. He received his MSc from Delft University of Technology (TU Delft)and joined Delft Hydraulics (nowadays Deltares) 8 years ago. He concentrates mainly on international projects related to coastal engineering and morphology and specialises in the field of numerical modelling of marine environment and coastal morphology. He also holds a parttime position at TU Delft in the Hydraulic Engineering Section assisting the education programme and supervising Master’s and PhD candidates.
