Max Radermacher received his BSc and MSc (cum laude) in Civil Engineering from Delft University of Technology, Delft, the Netherlands and is now a PhD candidate at the same university. His paper focusses on hanging silt screens, describing the decision process for deployment of hanging silt screens, their effectiveness and adaptive management strategies as an alternative for silt screens.
