Martin Fischer

Martin Fischer s Professor of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Stanford and also serves as Director of the Center for Integrated Facility Engineering (CIFE), an industry-sponsored, academic research centre. He is known as a leader in developing virtual 4D modelling (time plus 3D) methods to improve project planning and facility life-cycle performance, increase project teams’ productivity and further the sustainability of the built environment. He holds a PhD in Civil and Environmental Engineering and an MS in Industrial Engineering from Stanford anda Diploma in Civil Engineering from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology, Lausanne.
