Kimberly Townsend is a Civil Engineer in the Hydraulics & Hydrology Branch at the US Army Corps of Engineers, Galveston, Texas. Her projects primarily focus on sediment management, beach erosion and channel shoaling. During her college studies, her research experience at a corrosion and biofouling control lab fueled her interest in coastal engineering.
