Jerry Murphy (BE, MEngSc, PhD, CEng MIEI) is a Lecturer in Transportation Engineering in University College Cork and principal investigator in the Environmental Research Institute at the University. A civil engineering graduate of University College Cork (1989), he completed a Masters Degree on Anaerobic Digestion (1992) and a PhD on energy production from wastes (2004). His research interests include bio-energy and bio-fuel systems.
