Andrea Otte is a senior policy advisor at the Netherlands Agency for Cultural Heritage. She has a background in Roman Archaeology of North Western Europe. Since 2002 she has been involved in Maritime and Underwater Archaeology advising stakeholders, such as the Port Authority of Rotterdam, on dealing responsibly with the underwater cultural heritage during development projects. She is currently involved in the governmental investigation of the UNESCO Convention for the Protection of the Underwater Cultural Heritage.
