The reclamation areas on the Danish island Lolland (dashed white lines) are an essential part of the sustainable design for the proposed Fehmarnbelt Fixed Link connecting Scandinavia and continental Europe. The design ensures that the reclamation areas do not extend beyond the existing ferry harbour at Rødbyhavn and do not impact the protected area at Hyllekrog (see page 20).
