Nicola Clay
Nicola Clay is the Environmental Scientist at the Port of London Authority where she is responsible for assessing and advising upon the environmental effects of the PLA’s operations. She also has a key role in ensuring the PLA complies with existing legislation and is informed of developing environmental legislation. Before joining the PLA, she worked for the UK Government’s marine science agency, CEFAS, the Marine Consents and Environment Unit of Defra and, most recently, Posford Haskoning, an environmental and engineering consultancy where she was a project manager for EIAs including an offshore windfarm.
