Marius Cox graduated from the Delft University of Technology, The Netherlands in 1981 with a MSc in Civil Engineering. He started his career with the City of Rotterdam. In 1982 he joined Baggermaatschappij Boskalis bv as a research engineer. Thereafter he worked as superintendent, and as a production and planning engineer. Since 1994 he has been an instructor on the cutter simulator.
