Jean-Baptiste de Cuyper obtained an MSc in Civil Engineering, University of Ghent, Belgium and has been involved with a variety of complex port developments, marine and waterway engineering and strategic flood protection schemes, reaching from Australia and Far East Russia to the Middle East and Europe. For the last 5 years he has worked in the UK and Ireland as Deputy Area Manager, tendering and following up marine infrastructure works for Dredging International (DI), part of the DEME Group.
