To meet recent legislative requirements in France, the Port Authority of Dunkirk has pioneered a new method for dewatering contaminated dredged material and readying it for further use.

The process of selecting suitable rock for the foundation of the breakwater at the port of Poti, Georgia was essential in guaranteeing the integrity of the structure. A drum screen was used for the major quantity of the rock selection, and a wheel loader then loaded the materials onto the road trucks travelling to the various graded stockpiles.
