Terra et Aqua, the official quarterly publication of IADC, seeks to present dredging related papers on important scientific and state-of-the-art subjects. Articles from all those involved in dredging, members and non-members, will be considered but all submissions are subject to peer review.

The programme of day 2 of the dredging seminar is ready!

The morning programme (learn) consists of a presentation on Dredging Equipment given by lecturers Paul Vercruijsse (DEME) and Philip De Nys (Jan De Nul). In the afternoon, the participants will visit the Van Oord’s dredging yard at Moerdijk.

This visit includes:

  • presentations,
  • a site visit on a trailing suction hopper dredger and a survey vlet,
  • a quiz, and
  • a visit to the survey lab.


The day will be concluded with a complimentary three-course dinner at Le Vieux Jean in Delft. Participants can meet representatives from IADC member companies (such as Boskalis, DEME, Jan De Nul and Van Oord).

Following a 2-day colloquium (May 5 and 6) on Ecosystem Services ‒ Challenges and opportunities in managing flowing waters of the German Federal Institute of Hydrology, PIANC will organise a Seminar on Ecosystem Goods and Services. Its theme: “Identification, Assessment and Benefits for Navigation Infrastructure Projects”.
